A Firkin is a unique type of keg that can be made from wood or metal, and Zillie's will have both! Firkins allow the consumer to experience a new, yet familiar, quality of taste! Firkins are unusually tricky to tap, being set up in a way to prevent from getting air inside, so you'll be able to watch the skilled employees tap and pour this delicious, cask-conditioned beer! Come sample two types of brewed happiness: Loose Cannon IPA and Greater Pumpkin! The first 48 guests will receive a free Loose Cannon pint glass! The fun starts October 31 at 3pm!

Calling all artists to Ocracoke Preservation Society! There are 100 little 6 x 8 canvasses at the OPS Museum waiting to be transformed into original works of art. Amy Howard, OPS Administrator and the organizer of the art show, hopes that professional artists, dabblers, crafters, wanna-bes, and even people who don't think they're artists will be willing to participate. Show us "Ocracoke Through Your Eyes"! More info here.
