Meet amazing underground animals as part of the "Dig Into Reading" Summer Reading Program.

Join us on Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at the Ocracoke Library for the "Hanging Around Underground" program with the NC Aquarium. This fun and informative event is free and all are welcome!

Sponsored by Ocracoke Friends of the Library with funds provided by the Ocracoke Occupancy Tax Board.

If you missed the Used Book Sale, it's not too late!

The books will still be on display and on sale through the month of July. Just stop by the library during its regular hours (Mon, Tu, Th, Fri: 3 – 7 p.m.; Wed: 3 – 8 p.m.; Sat: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.) to find the books waiting for you!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the sale on July 2nd. FOL made $800 in the first day, all of which will be used to support the library and promote literacy on the island.

Library patrons and books sale shoppers are invited to join Friends of the Library. It's a mere $5 for individuals and $10 for a whole family. Forms are available at the library.
