Name that Beard

Hirsute island men outnumber their shaved counterparts during the off season. That's a factoid. But it does seem that beards are everywhere, and sadly, soon to be gone, except for the year round stalwarts, bless them.

Locals grew winter beards long before they trended, and hopefully will continue to do so long after. The photos are but a small sampling of the facial hair that was on offer in February. For a proper wintertime beard, I would refer you to Beaver Tillett or Ikey O'Neal. Regrettably, I didn't photograph either of their beards.
