The Hyde County Board of Education will be reviewing the current Remote Learning Plan C during their meeting this Tuesday.

They will first hold an informational work session via Zoom at 2:00pm.

The 2pm meeting will be an additional work meeting with the purpose of the Board reviewing and discussing re-opening the schools to students due to the amount of information necessary to consider.

There will be no public comment segment, votes, or actions taken at this meeting. They will just review the extensive amount of information to consider for the possible reopening of schools for students soon.

The Regular Meeting will follow at 5:00 pm where votes and actions will take place.

In an effort to continue to have this process open and transparent and to create a mechanism to allow everyone who wants to be able to attend the meeting, members of the public will be able to view a simulcast of both meetings on any of the Hyde County Schools Facebook pages through Facebook Live that day.

As always, if anyone is interested in speaking during the 5:00pm-Meeting Public Comment segment, please email Superintendent Basnight at sbasnight@hyde.k12.nc.us and request to be added to that Agenda.
