3 New COVID Cases in Hyde County
Note: We won't know for a few days if these cases are on Ocracoke or the mainland. So far, the other 6 cases have all been on the mainland.
Luana Gibbs, Health Director for Hyde County reports three (3) more cases of COVID-19 in Hyde County as of 11:30 a.m. today. All of the individuals are in isolation at home. This brings Hyde County’s total count of laboratory confirmed cases to nine (9); however, three (3) of those cases have recovered, which means we have six (6) active cases. There are no current hospitalizations and no deaths to report. Individuals should continue to be mindful of prevention practices.
