Time is running out to buy your 2018 OPS Quilt Raffle Tickets!

The Ocracoke Needle & Thread Club has handmade a quilt for OPS for the past 23 years. This quilt, a traditional Ocracoke Cracker pattern with appliqued lighthouse squares, will become a family heirloom to cherish with fond memories of Ocracoke.

Quilting is a long standing tradition on Ocracoke. The Ocracoke Needle & Thread Club continues to meet on the island, regularly making quilts to raise funds for local non-profit organizations. This year's quilt was displayed in May at the Manteo Quilt Festival.

Ticket sales help Ocracoke Preservation Society fund many of its outstanding programs, archival projects and the ongoing preservation of our beloved Island's history.

The drawing will be held at the OPS annual Wassail Party on December 4, 2018.
