Spiffy New Season for Water Tower

The Ocracoke Sanitary District hired a contractor to make repairs, sandblast, and paint the elevated water tank at the water plant. 

They sent out a notice to all customers with the following information: 

Work could take approximately 30 days. 

Keep in mind that if you come to the water plant office that you may want to be careful where you park.

During part of this maintenance period, the elevated tank will have to be empty to paint the inside. You may notice minor differences in pressure. In the event of a power outage, there may be a short period with no pressure or water.
