Welcome back, visitors! Ocracoke gets back to normal this week!

Monday, October 17th:

Ferries are running for everyone and the NPS Visitor Center re-opens today! 

Go Dolphins! Today there are dueling games on different islands.... Soccer fans can travel to Hatteras to see the Dolphins play the Hurricanes, while Volleyball fans are invited to Senior Night! The Dolphins will play Manteo at home and honor senior girls Bricia, Brieanna and Stacey for their years of hard work! Both the soccer (away) and volleyball (home) games start at 4pm. Fear the Pod!

Tuesday, October 18th:

Eat out! The Pony Island re-opens for breakfast today at 7am. Jason's, Howard's Pub, The Flying Melon, Ocracoke Oyster Company, and Zillie's are also back in business after the storm.

Current Events Week of October 17th

10am – 1pm: Ocracoke peeps, if you need help with Hurricane Relief, stop by the Methodist Church Rec Hall and talk to Mary or Richard Bryant. You don't have to be a church member to get help.  

Wednesday, October 19th:

5–7:30pm: Ocracoke peeps, if you need help with Hurricane Relief, stop by the Ocracoke Library and talk to Mary Bryant. 

7pm: Trivia Night is back!! Come out to the Oyster Co. for Trivia Night every other week. Just $2 to play! Jessica and Chrisi will be your Quiz Masters, and proceeds will benefit a charity of their choice. This week, the money will go to breast cancer research, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Thursday, October 20th:

Early Voting in NC begins today: If you happen to have some time to kill waiting for the Swan Quarter ferry, you can stop by the mainland Elections Office and Vote Early!

Current Events Week of October 17th

3:15: Library Lego Club! All are welcome to come out and build and see what others build. The library has lots of Legos to share. 

7:30pm: Music at the Coyote Den! The Coyote Den is in the Community Square, and will host Martin Garrish and Friends "Playing Your Ocracoke Memories" every Friday night from March 25th – November 18th. More info at www.coyotemusic.net

Saturday, October 22nd: 

6pm: Wine tasting at Zillie's Island Pantry! Fall wine tastings take place every Saturday at 6pm, and pair five great wines with delicious hors d'oeuvres from the pantry. Space is limited, so make a reservation, and sign up at zillies.com.

7:30pm: The Coyote Den added a new Saturday night event for the fall: Raygun Ruby Unplugged! That's right -- it's everybody's favorite rockin' 80's cover band in a small, intimate listening room at the Coyote Den in the Community Square. More info at www.coyotemusic.net

Sunday, October 23rd:

11am Homecoming S @ Ocracoke Assembly of God, celebrating 78 years. Also October 23rd begins revival services at OAG with the Johnson Family through the 26th.
