Hyde County Tropical System Hermine Advisory 3
Based on the Ocracoke Control Group Meeting held today September 3, 2016 at 4pm, with the Ferry Division, National Park Service and representatives from both Dare and Hyde County, there is a plan to lift the mandatory visitor evacuation on Sunday September 4, 2016 as the ferries resume operations and Dare County roads allow.
North Carolina Ferry Division will be doing test runs tomorrow at 7am, September 4, 2016; pending successful ferry runs and positive road conditions the mandatory evacuation should be lifted.
Please check for updates.
