Obituary for Gisela A. Zastrow
Gisela was born in Germany in 1939. She emigrated to St. Louis in 1970s. Gisela and her husband, Klaus, raised their two daughters while Gisela taught chemistry to at-risk children in the inner city St. Louis school system. Though she battled her own health issues over the years, she was a dedicated mentor and friend to others seeking healing and wellness in their lives.
Gisela is survived by her daughterS, Bettina Zastrow, and her husband, Lance McGinnis, and their three children, Karl, Wilhelm and Klaus, all of Nyack, N.Y.; Katja Zastrow and her husband, Christian Teelucksingh, of Washington, D.C.; and her former husband, Dr. Klaus Zastrow.
