Two home basketball games this week -- and more!

Monday, January 12th:

Ferry Division Meeting, 1pm at Ocracoke Community Center. 

First Home Basketball game of 2015! Come out to the Dolphin Tank (Ocracoke School gym) to cheer on the Pod against the Mattamuskeet Lakers. Games start at 4pm. Go Dolphins!

Know Your Park Presentation: WWI U-Boats Off the NC Coast, 7pm at the Community Center. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of WWI, Guest speaker Michael Lowry will offer a free presentation about U-Boat activity right off our shores. Sponsored by Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

 

Tuesday, January 13th:

Ocracoke Girl Scouts Cookies Kick-off: The Brownie and Cadette troops will start taking orders for cookies today! Be on the lookout for Girl Scouts with order forms! 

 

Friday, January 16th:

Away basketball game at Hatteras starting at 6pm. Listen at WOVV 90.1 FM or wovv.org, or take a short ferry ride to see the games in person! Go Dolphins!


Saturday, January 17th:

Home basketball game vs. Camden at 1pm in the Ocracoke School gym. Fear the Pod!

Looking ahead to next week:

OCBA meeting on Wednesday, January 21st at 7pm at the Community Center. (It's usually the 2nd Wednesday of each month, but is the 3rd Wednesday this month only.) All are welcome!

Ocracoke "Through Your Eyes" Art Show will be Saturday, January 24th at the OPS Museum. Details about the event (and how to bid online), as well as a sneak peek at the artwork can be found at the OPS website.
