At the April 25th awards assembly, Ocracoke School guidance counselor Mary McKnight and Principal Walt Padgett presented certificates to the students who achieved Honor Roll and Principal's List status. The assembly began with a special presentation in honor of Secretary's Day. The Kindergarten students gave flowers to school secretary Lisa Caswell.
Middle school Language Arts teacher Shea Youell also presented special awards to the school spelling bee winners, Dylan Sutton and Caroline Temple.
