Last Week of School

It is with a heavy heart I post this today.

MY lil school house is getting torn down soon thanks to the flooding from Hurricane Dorian last September. I spent all 12 years of school there and have so many fond memories of friends, teachers and events from there. That lil school house sure gave a lot of LOVE to so many people over the years.

I know the "new" building will be nice and more user friendly but it still hurts my heart to know a part of the Ocracoke I knew will be gone. As I have said before Ocracoke is going through another "cycle of life"!
