Ocracoke's 5K/10K Gets More Sponsors!

This year’s race will be held starting at 8 am on Saturday April 25th, 2015 with the awards ceremony and post-race party taking place directly following the race at Gaffer’s Sports Pub. Last year's race raised over $30,000.00 for 3 of Ocracoke's non-profits. Funds were divided equally between WOVV Ocracoke Community Radio, the Ocracoke School Athletic Boosters Club, and the Ocracoke Community Park. Over 300 runners participated in the event. This year's race will support the same non-profits. Raffle tickets for a chance to win a $500 cash prize will be sold at and following the race while tickets last! Tickets are only $10 each and proceeds go toward the 3 non-profits!

Spring baseball games are in full swing for Ocracoke’s 4 baseball teams!!! Check the Ocracoke Current calendar for game dates and times!  One third of the proceeds from the race will go to the Ocracoke Community Park/Ball Field!

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the 2016 Race, contact Race Director Greg Honeycutt at 252-207-1305 or  greg@oceanatlanticrentals.com .
