With the re-opening of N.C. 12 this morning, the N.C. Department of Transportation's Ferry Division will discontinue the two extra ferry runs on the Ocracoke-Swan Quarter ferry route that had started this past Monday. The last extra runs take place today. 

On Thursday, the ferry route will return to its regular schedule:

• From Ocracoke to Swan Quarter at 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
• From Swan Quarter to Ocracoke at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
