The NC Board of Transportation has set new ferry tolls to be in place on July 1.

These include increases on the Swan Quarter and Cedar Island ferries. (A one-way ticket will be $27 per car, plus $5 per passenger over age 12.)

As of now, the Hatteras Inlet ferry will remain free, but the Board of Transportation reportedly wants to add tolls.
