OIRRT COVID-19 Update

Information about Food Pantry, counseling, and other needs.

As the COVID-19 situation develops, our organization is implementing measures to protect the community while we continue relief efforts. Due to the evolving situation, we find it fit to send an unscheduled update.

Bread of Life Food Pantry: Remote Operation

In order to promote social distancing and protect our volunteers, the Bread of Life Food Pantry is suspending walk-in hours indefinitely effective immediately. Beginning Monday, March 23rd the pantry will temporarily transition to a food hamper delivery system.

If you are in need of a food hamper delivery, please call 360-362-9796 or email apeel@oirrt.org beginning Monday, March 23rd. Food hamper deliveries can be requested once a week per household. 

If you are food insecure following the effects of COVID-19 and in immediate need of assistance, please contact one of the following sources:

Mental Health Services - Phone Consultations Recommended

Mental Health Professional Earle Irwin can still be reached via call or text at 703-863-1243 to set up an appointment. These services are free of charge and confidential. Due to COVID-19 concerns, consultations and meetings are requested to be conducted via phone to promote social distancing.
