NPS volunteers and rangers open the Ocracoke Lighthouse a couple of times a week. (You can go in, but not up!) Stop by the NPS Visitor Center for specific times or check the Current's Facebook page.

Monday, May 6th:

10am: Ocracoke Lighthouse open 10am-Noon

11:30am: TDA meeting @ Community Center. Public is welcome.

6pm: Family Night @ Ocracoke Library. The Book Fair Family Night event features games, snacks, raffles, prizes, and crafts with a dinosaur theme! Reading is Dino-mite!

7pm: Trivia Night @ Gaffer's. Only $2 to play! Show off how smart you are. Proceeds go to a good cause. 

Thursday, May 9th:

11am: British Cemetery Ceremony @ British Cemetery. Luncheon follows at Berkley Barn. All are welcome to this annual event honoring the lost sailors from the HMT Bedfordshire.

8pm: Live Music! Opening Night @ Coyote Music Den Friday nights through October 25th, Fridays at the Den will be Marcy & Lou "In Concert" with a special guest (or not) at 8pm (doors at 7:30). A fun, heart-felt evening of live music in a magical setting.

Services @ both churches: Ocracoke United Methodist (Sunday School 10am; service at 11am) and Ocracoke Assembly of God (Sunday School 10am, services at 11am and 6pm; also Wednesday night service at 7pm).
