6pm: Ocracoke Civic Affairs meeting @ Community Center.

Current Events November 12–18

6pm: Enchanted Forest Family Night @ Ocracoke Library's Scholastic Book Fair. Come out and enjoy stories, games, prizes, crafts, and treats! Kids who bring a grown-up will be able to enter a raffle to win a book! Ocracoke School students can help their teachers – the class with the biggest percentage of students attending Family Night will win $50 to spend at the Book Fair! 6–7:30pm. 

Thursday, November 15th:

3pm: Scholastic Book Fair is open at library, 3-7pm.

7pm: Ocracoke Alive Annual Membership Meeting @ Deepwater Theater. All are welcome to come and find out what OA is up to this year. Dessert provided!

Friday, November 16th:

3pm: Scholastic Book Fair is open at library, 3-7pm.

6pm: Go, Dolphins! First home basketball game of the season! 6pm in the Dolphin Tank (a.k.a., the Ocracoke School gym). 

7:30pm: Live Music! Coyote in Concert @ Coyote Music Den. The Coyote Music Den is in the Community Square, SPECIAL PRICING (door only): Seniors $12, Locals $10, Students $7, $15 adults/$7 kids under 12. Share the magic! More info at www.coyotemusic.net

Saturday, November 17th:

Last Day of the Season for Jason's Restaurant

9am: Scholastic Book Fair open at Ocracoke Library, 9am–1pm.

9am: Ocracoke Health Fair @ the Fire Hall, 9am–Noon. Find out about medication safety, healthy food options for the holidays, and more!

3pm: Oyster Roast @ Plum Pointe Kitchen (located in 1718 Brewery). Plum Pointe loves helping our their friends at 1718 Brewing and we all love the beer! Help bring back the Oyster Stout by enjoying an a Oyster Roast on Saturday, Nov. 17th from 3-6pm. $1 Fresh local oysters! 

6pm: Wine Tasting @ Zillie's Wine tastings pair five great wines with delicious hors d'oeuvres from the pantry. Space is limited, so make a reservation, and sign up at zillies.com.

6:30pm: Live Music! Martin & Friends @ Oyster Co

Sunday, November 18th:

Services @ both churches: Ocracoke United Methodist (Sunday School 10am; service at 11am) and Ocracoke Assembly of God (Sunday School 10am, services at 11am and 6pm; also Wednesday night service at 7pm).

2pm: Scholastic Book Fair open @ Ocracoke Library, 2-4pm.
