The 4th happened in a big way, and there's more coming up this week!

It's hot and sunny on the island, but when you take a break from the beach, there's plenty more to do.

The National Park Service hosts interpretive programs on Ocracoke every week. Find that schedule here. Wonderful NPS volunteers open the Lighthouse a couple of times a week. (You can go in, but not up!) Stop by the NPS Visitor Center for specific times or check the Current's Facebook page.
