Congrats to all the kids who participated in the Spring Showcase for Ocracoke School of Performing Arts! And thanks to their director and teacher, Desiree Ricker, who makes it all possible.
The actors were Juliette Jordan, Melanie Perez, Christian Stevens, Emilia Jordan, Iris McClain, Shayna Brooks, Maggie Evans, and Mariah Temple.
Dance I dancers were Payce Howarth, Angela Flores, Dulce Juarez, Jami Martinez, Zoe Modlin, Daisy O'Neal, Essie O'Neal, and Sofia Vergara.
Kids' Movement dancers were Riely Brown, Anna Embler, Camryn Lewis, Dallas Mason, Chloe O'Neal, Lela Palacios, and Morgan Swain.
Intermediate dancers were Shayna Brooks, Maren Donlon, Maggie Evans, and Melanie Perez.
Singers were Shayna Brooks, Maren Donlon, Starr Ely, Essie O'Neal, and Mariah Temple. Julie Howard provided accompaniment.

This year we have so many students showcasing so many talents that we will be having a festival-style, "All the Island's a Stage" showcase! Singing, Dancing, Face-painting, Bubbles, Games, Hula-hoops, A Pirate Show, Tasty Treats and A 50/50 Raffle! What a great way to kick-off your Memorial Day weekend! Bring fun-lovers of all ages to see our Ocracoke kids showing off what they've been working on since March!
Ocracoke School of Performing Arts teacher Desiree Ricker has organized a day of fun for her dance, drama, and voice students. Soloists will be Maren Donlon, Starr Ely, Shayna Brooks, Essie O'Neal, and Mariah Temple.
