As part of preparing for the 2016 centennial anniversary of the National Park Service, visitors to Cape Hatteras National Seashore website will soon see changes.
Overhaul of all National Park Service park websites are underway and will continue during the next few weeks. Every effort is being made to seamlessly redirect old links to the new page locations, but there may be times when old links will not work. Old bookmarks will need to be deleted and new bookmarks made. Use of the “Search” box for key terms is encouraged.
All of the main sections under a park’s website (i.e. Plan Your Visit, Photos & Multimedia, History & Culture, For Teachers, Management, and so forth) are being moved under three topic areas: Plan Your Visit, Learn About the Park, and Get Involved.
